Open Data Day represents another opportunity to show the benefits of open data and encourage the re-use by public administration, civil society and journalists.
For the 2017 ODD edition, OGP Romania is organizing a hackathon that will take place on 4-5 March, at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Participation is open to anyone interested in developing applications or visualization solutions based on open data.
The focus this year is on four key areas that we believe open data can solve: – Open research data, Tracking public money flows, Open data for environment, Open data for human rights. The projects developed during the Bucharest Hackathon can cover one of these topics or focus on other subjects of interest for the Romanian society.
