WHY DID YOU CHOOSE A CAREER IN DIGITAL?
I believe it was the result of multiple decisions. All based on the principles of doing what I like and doing what I’m good at.

 

WHAT IS THE BEST CAREER ADVICE YOU RECEIVED AND FROM WHOM?
At one moment, at the beginning of my career, I was lucky to meet a career coach. She advised me to focus my development on the things I’m good at and constantly do them better. Stop wasting resources on trying to improve everything. I follow this principle in everything I do. And also try to convince others to try it, at least.

 

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE DIGITAL WORLD IS?
My work now is convincing companies that using the cloud is the best decision they can take, for the future of their business.
In the near future, it will make no sense for businesses to own technology. So the earlier you start on this trend the better you can adapt and keep the pace.
I also talk and advise companies on designing their digital customer service experience. We as consumers are always connected and accustomed to using digital. So we want to be able to get the support needed in the same way, to be always available and personalized. That can only be possible with a digital infusion in the customer service experience.

 

HOW CAN ONE FUTURE-PROOF HIS CAREER?
At this moment, in my opinion, this is a wrong strategy. The speed of technological advance makes the future of work more dynamic and unpredictable than ever. There are some things I do, to be a relevant resource in the future too.
I try to always be literate about latest technologies. Understand them the best I can and see how to integrate them in my professional and personal life.
Openness to change, adapting to and partnering with technology and always ready to learn. These are key attributes to keep being valuable.


DIGITAL WILL:
Make us better humans.

CREATE:
Emotions rather than things.

SHARE:
Will be the main way of using products and services in the future.

ACHIEVE:
New limits, with the right mix of human and technology.

ADVICE TO YOUNG PROFESSIONALS:
Find your strengths and invest especially in them. It’s the only way to differentiate and remain relevant.

YOUR DIGITAL INSPIRATION COMES FROM:
Reading articles on the internet, imagining how non-digital would look like digital.
